This is a Ruse

I’m SO excited for the Bourne Pharmacy, you guys!

I mean, I’ve never seen a Bourne movie before but I have read the books, so whatever. As for why it’s The Bourne Pharmacy, well, we know something you don’t. ;D

In case you’re wondering, the next Bourne film is being shot in Manila and everyone’s going crey since no one really ever shoots in Manila and shoots it as Manila. So Jess, Dom & I decided to go check out the shoots.

There were A LOT of people.

Like, a lot.

One of the things we did was watch them set up and even create props on the spot. Here’s Dom (in yellow) talking to some of the dudes creating fake rusty looking lamp post heads.

My bet is that they’re gonna smash ‘em.

Just left of this scene, off camera, were some foreign dudes talking about everything from lights to camera set ups, etc. We asked them a bunch of random questions about things like the inclusion of the things sold in the stores they were going to film which included a lot of pirated shit.

Also interesting were the labes on the boxes and carts they brought around.

Their equiptment were even brought in trucks meant for fish.

But while everyone was crowding where Edward Norton had been practicing jumping off house tops and what not, we decided to go in the small alleys and see if there was anything interesting.

And what luck, we found another shoot location that no one but the regulars was watching. THis was the only shot I could take as I didn’t know they didn’t allow cameras, but it isn’t even of anything specific right so I can’t possibly get in trouble for this. LOL

Anyway, Rachel Weisz passed us by in this tiny alley and I, for the most part was all ARE Y’ALL SURE THAT WAS RACHEL WEISZ.

One of the residents confirmed it and even started telling us all sorts of stories about the production. She was awesome. She even offered to let us use her house to watch them shoot the actual stuff if we came back tomorrow.

Her name was Nora and really, she was a lot of help/informative. We also befriended a bloke named Gary who took time off work just to go stalking too. xD We just chilled with him and Aling Nora for the rest of the time and when the shooting had been done, we saw Rachel Weisz a second time.

Everyone was passing thru this tiny alley as they packed up and left and everyone, especially the children, were saying goodbye to the folks. A couple of the production team said goodbye back.

And then when Rachel came by, Jess and Dom in excitement, blurted out loud enthusiastic “HI!!!1!”s. But they were ignored. I laughed at them and told them they ought to have called Rachel by name. But Dom at least, happily jokes ‘How many people can say they’ve been snubbed by Rachel Weisz?’.

Anyway. That was our adventure. Unfortunately tho, there was no Jeremy Renner despite the fact that I made Dom draw something to give him. Dom might go back tomorrow but Jess and I are rather tired. But that’s okay, because we seen on the news. =))
